Care Guide

Aurelia pieces are made in small quantities, using fabrics chosen for how they hold their shape and catch the light. Treated well, they will stay beautiful for years.

Tweed

Shoulder Symphony, Blush N' Bloom, Twirl N' Tease, Ivory Muse

• Dry clean only. Tweed loses its structure in water.
• Store on a padded hanger to protect the shoulders.
• Never wring or twist. If it gets damp, lay flat and let it dry naturally, away from direct heat.

Satin & Organza

Dotted Drama, Butterfly Reverie, Shoulder Symphony ribbon

• Dry clean only.
• Keep away from perfume and hairspray — spray before dressing, not after.
• Iron on the lowest setting, on the reverse side, with a cloth between the iron and the fabric.
• Store away from direct sunlight to protect the colour.

Denim

Tennis Twirl, Bowing Big, Ribbon Rave, Bow Babe Blues, Noir Enchanté

• Wash cold, inside out, on a gentle cycle — and only when it genuinely needs it.
• Hang to dry. Tumble drying breaks down the fibres and the fit.
• For pieces with bows or embellishment, remove them first where detachable, or dry clean instead.

Jacquard

Luna Poise

• Dry clean only.
• Hang rather than fold, to avoid pressing creases into the weave.

Bows & sculptural details

Our bows are structured to hold their shape. To keep them that way:

• Store pieces with room around them — a crowded wardrobe flattens a bow faster than anything else.
• If a bow loses its shape in transit, steam it lightly from a distance and reshape by hand while warm.
• Detachable sashes and overlays should be stored flat or loosely rolled.

A note on embroidery

Hand-cut chiffon butterflies and similar details are attached by hand. Always dry clean these pieces, and mention the embellishment to your cleaner.
